On Fridays, I'm going to try to do some sort of craft with the kids. Since we had been reading in 2 Chronicles this week, I decided to help Emory make a crown. Here's what we did:
Make a crown template (I used thin cardboard--card stock would work well)
Cut it out
Wrap it in aluminum foil
Write the names of the kings on it (we wrote Solomon, Reheboham, Abijah, Asa, and Jehoshaphat) with a marker
Hot glue some clear and colored stones (we used the kind that go into a fish tank)
Voila--you have a crown for your 'king'!
We have enjoyed our Bible reading this week!
